Hi! I didn't make it past the first round. Sad. But I'm good with it. Anyway, I thought my audition went really well, and I had lots of fun. It was an experience I wouldn't have missed for the world.
Tip 4. Stay calm. It's a bit scary at first, but if you're confident you can do it.
5. Give it your best shot. Put your heart and soul into the song and you'll do well.
6. Don't be discouraged, even if you don't make it. There will be other chances. Remember, Never Give Up!
7. Just have fun!

The Next Star Number

Hey! I registered! I'm number 02034. Soon it will be my turn to audition! I'm kind of freaking out here! Anyway, when I registered they gave me a bag of Big Foots candy! Skyres must be so jealous right now (it's one of her Dave candies)! Check your email Sky! Got to go, It's almost my turn! See ya!

The Next Star

Hey everyone! I still haven't registered but at least I'm not tired at all anymore. Adamo, the host, has been walking around interviewing people (not me yet) but I have been on camera a few times. You might not be able to see me very well, but still. I'm having lots of fun and I've been practicing while I wait. I'm singing Bubbly by Collbie Callait and Hallelujah by Kate Voegele. Oh, it's almost my turn to register! Later!

The Next Star Tips Part 1

So right now I'm sitting in a waiting room waiting to register. It's about 6:50am, I'm dead tired, but luckily I'm not too nervous. I thought throughout the day I would post some tips.
1. Get lots of rest the night before! You have to get up early.
2. Get there ahead of time. The website says they open at six, but sometimes they let people in before that. It also helps if you're staying at or near the place auditions are being held.
3. Bring something to entertain yourself, like a book or your Ipod. It's a long, long wait.

I got up @ 5:30am. No sane person willingly gets up that early. Luckily, I've never been sane. I'm standing in line to register right now, and it is crazy long! Talk to you later!

The Next Star

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't posted for awhile, but I have a very good reason. Who here (besides my best friends who read my blog) have heard about the TV show The Next Star? Well, it's a singing competition for Canadians 15 or under, and I'm auditioning for it tomorrow! I've been really busy all week practicing for it, and I'm so excited that I get this once in a lifetime opportunity. On Monday I'll tell you all how I did!

Oh yeah, and I'd like to thank all my family and friends for all the support they've given me! I couldn't do it without you guys! Thanks so much!

Just in case you don't know who Serifina is, she is a witch with a calling for healing, just like Jackie. Unfortunately, Serifina died before Jackie was born, but she was one of the most talented healers of all time. She was good friends with Julien and Heron, even though the other witches didn't approve. Now though, she is Jackie's gaurdian angel.
