My Books: Kale

Hey people! Exciting news! Recently I came up with a new story idea, and I wanted to tell you about it. At the moment it's called Kale, but I know there are better possibilities than that.

Kale is about a family who is torn apart during a war. Kale, the oldest child, and Jacob, the youngest, are kidnapped by soldiers when Kale is ten and Jacob is three. That leaves Demi, Jesse, Lena and their parents. Three years later, the soldiers come back for the rest of the family. Demi, Jesse and Lena manage to hide before the soldiers get there, but their parents aren't so lucky. Now orphans, Demi, Jesse and Lena flee to their Aunt Paige's house. They live with Aunt Paige and Uncle Wilson until the day Demi turns 18, when they move back into their old house. A year later Jesse moves out, and Lena and Demi are on their own. Demi still believes that her parents and brothers are alive. Then one day she meets a young soldier Salem, who has been injured in the line of duty. She falls in love with him, and he comes to stay with her and Lena. But Although Demi is happier than ever, she can't forget that her family still isn't together. And she hopes every moment that one day they will be.
